As a specialist materials handling and mechanical installation company MechTek have growing experience in completing capital turnkey design projects and providing supply chain support service to civil engineering contractors.
Our project engineers and site personnel have acquired experience on long term water projects. At cleanwater and sewage treatment works, our team has delivered quality mechanical installations and provided valuable materials handling design and advice.
Projects carried out include work on;
- Design, fabrication and supply of pipework, structures and mechanical plant.
- Installation of coated (scotchkote) carbon steel pipework, high level support structures, access equipment, gantries, hoppers, conveyors and tanks in mild and stainless steel.
- Installation of new blowers, plastic pipework and st/st water cooled pipework for ASP lanes.
- Installation of flight recirculation pumps and mixers on ASP lanes and clean air pipework to feed ASP lane pipes.
- Decommissioning of centrifuges and replacement with belt thickeners and klampress-press, installation of mono pumps, mono munchers, multiple valves, plastic manifolds and backboards.
- Supply of materials handling equipment, parts and accessories.
MechTek aim to work closely and in partnership with all civil contractors, pipe-system companies and installation teams to ensure that new plant or replacement water industry plant operates smoothly and surrounding access structures, walkways and safety barriers are of the highest design and safety standards.
